Well, I disagree with deletion of default "name" tag. It is true that Europe has no official language, but it is pretty weak argument.

Here are my arguments to revert it and use English for name tag:
- All other continents have its name written in English.
- English is used as communication language on all (international) airports and harbours... Don't matter how hard some people push, English is the only true international language.
- Some renderers and software using OSM data don't care about "name:" alternatives

Please don't add personal, not persistent objects to OSM database
