Hi Cam-Gerlach, thx for your reply. In this case the changeset name (changed access) is exactly what has been changed. Not more not less: The access has changed from car= to motorcar= because that's the common tagging scheme for usage (eg access). Don't know how to do better. Thanx for al your time and effort you put into osm as well. Regards Joris

High aTarom, you are right, the access:temporary is an easy way the find and recheck conditional access after the conditions have changed back to normal. Kind regards, Joris

Hi gurgylypipe ! Thank you for your reaction. Mixed/multiple access tagging is rather confusing for automated routing using osm data. Since general access already is 'no' in combination of the state of the comments it seemed not likely to me to 'route' people over this road same as 'via ferrata's' are not used for routing. Also the value discouraged "should" only be used if explicitly signed that way, not because a mapper thinks it is safer. For me no problem to change it back, i did miss the discussiion you mentioned.
