Changeset When Comment

Hello olehz, just commenting here to avoid clogging up some of the other changesets. In changeset/141555869#c1212205 you mention working for a company that makes use of the data you're adding here, was just wondering if you could clarify if you're getting paid to work on OpenStreetMap, and are there any other OpenStreetMap users also working for this company?

addr:suburb, addr:postcode, addr:state is not necessary in Australia because we have various boundaries that provide this data.

For example, relation/2431045 provides a default postcode and suburb for all objects inside.

The data you've added here doesn't need to be removed, but please don't add more :)

Also, your changeset comments could definitely be a little more descriptive. Including the date as your changeset comment is useless - say something like "added footpaths"

Hi, please don't remove sidewalk tags from footpaths that are sidewalks. When adding sidewalks, you need to properly create crossings too.

Hello, this changeset has been reverted in changeset/185510962. You've changed a service road into a footpath for no reason, and attached landuse to various ways. Please don't this.

I think you may have been trying to fix some kind of routing issue with the sidewalk? I have properly linked the sidewalk to the road in another changeset.

Also, please don't mention "official website" in your changesets without including a link / some way of knowing what website you were on. It it look like you're making stuff up.

Hi, is there a reason you're splitting multiple roads?

Are you working for NVHR? Your profile doesn't match the wiki page.

Hello, I've fixed all of these typos, and iD will soon stop suggesting building:levels so it should be easier to fix if it happens again. :)

Hello Sue, thank you for you and your team's work on addresses through QLD.

Just wanted to flag this changeset, as your team seems to usually add unit numbers that aren't in QLD's address dataset, but QLD Addresses does have this block, and the data you've added doesn't match: https://imgtree.co/i/i4Lpji1 (the surrounding blocks also have unit data, I have hidden them)

Are you able to confirm that the QLD addresses are incorrect? I can import the unit addresses from the QLD database for this block if you'd like.

Please don't add duplicate objects to the map. osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element

It looks like it will suggest this for any object, not just elevators.

I have an opened an issue with iD for this: https://github.com/openstreetmap/id-tagging-schema/issues/2354

It looks like you may have picked this up from iD warning about elevator levels. If you add `levels=0;1`, it says the tag should be `building:levels=0;1` when the tag is really a typo of `level=0;1`. I just ran into this when trying to fix some of these.

Hello Michelle T, it looks like you've been adding paths to stations with building:levels, which is used to tag how many levels a building has (osm.wiki/building:levels). Is it possible you've been meaning to use osm.wiki/Tag:level=... (osm.wiki/level) instead? :P

You can see a map of footpaths with this issue here: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/2rZD

Thanks, fixed in changeset/184117265

fortera_au: it looks like this changeset was correct. If you look at v1 of the node, it appears to have been created at the bottom of the earth, which should be incorrect. This changeset has moved the node to the address tagged in the node.

Alright, I've added a construction area: way/1280062053

Feel free to change/remove as needed.
