I like it for mapping fairly simple things like bike parking, parcel lockers, benches, etc. I usually just add the basic node and complete the rest of the tagging later at home. It’s also good for confirming shops etc. You can walk down the streets and easily confirm or mark as vacant a hundred businesses in ten minutes. Industrial areas are much harder to map. It’s not always obvious what a business actually does just by the name on an industrial unit so you need to research it later anyway. I just usually add the company name to a node and finish it later.

Thank you, that is an interesting map (well, it is to map nerd me). I note that this map has Cramond spelt with one m. All the streets are named after Scottish islands and Cramond the island does indeed have one m. However, the street in North Muirton has always had the double m on street signs etc. I wonder if this was a mistake and no one noticed until it was too late?
