If these parking lots have separate ref=* values then they should be mapped as separate areas rather than a relation.

The Strava Global Heatmap shows most people stopping at this point. Is there something preventing people from continuing south on the trail beyond here? On the Pierce County PublicGIS parcel map, I see that the old railroad right of way, now owned by Pierce County Parks & Recreation, crosses over the creek around here. Is that what's causing people to turn back?

Someone recently added Bicycle=yes and foot=yes for a large number of parking isle in this area (Folsom, CA). This is not the default for parking lots and not sure why someone would change from the default for parking lots.
