I checked with a gpx of my own. Both this and the way before your change match better with strava, where there were actual changes that could be seen in zooms below 18.

Length of way/76125527 now is 2.25 km, before it was 2.14 - not much of a difference. At times a node for every step (½m) in sections on a path that is just coarse gravel, such precision does not show the path, but a single passage on there.

I will realign. There is another problem with the path, it does not even follow the hiking route.

I have doubts, that the extra precision is worth it. If you'd looked at strava, you may have noticed, where your interpretations of the aerial are incorrect. Or is this a gpx dump, and you sometimes went off-trail?

Hallo glemco, hier kann man das Protokoll der Änderungen lesen, node/640444776/history - amenity=restaurant wurde nicht mit streetcomplete entfernt.

So wie es nun aussieht ist der Standardansicht auf der osm homepage das Übernachten offensichtlich wichtiger als die Mahlzeiten. Ich finde das eh nicht ganz daneben. Man könnte natürlich auch zwei POI Knoten anlegen.

Ich bin da nur zufällig drüber gestolpert. Die Zeitpläne und weitere Details überlass ich gerne Dir :)

Not certain anymore, if alpine_hut is even correct here. It certainly is not a "Schutzhütte". All the other restaurants (except Enzianhütte) you removed the alpine_hut tag and moved the restaurant from a node inside to the outline of the building are true alps (Almhütten) that serve food in addition to tending livestock, while only the Höttinger offers accommodation. This is very literal and selective reading of the definition, to only ask, are there beds. E.g. it must be remote too, I read there, no road, etc.

I did overreact; The changeset comment is quite bold though. One might consider the restaurant redundant, as alpine_hut includes alimentation.

Hmm, nachgeschaut auf deren Homepage, anscheinend war das zwar geplant, laut Gespräche mit Seniorpächter, aber draus geworden ist scheints nichts.

Die Peishütte heißt zwar Hütte, aber cabin ist das keine.

Restaurant und Gebäude sind nicht Eins.

Ich mag den Pächter auch nicht, aber die Enzianhütte hat Übernachtungsmöglichkeit.

Also there is no T-intersection 20m above, so I reverted the geometries there. From the aerial alone you just cannot see below the trees and even with the terrain model you would not be able to tell.

Hello Jorisbo, Welcome to Innsbruck. I'd like to make you aware, that we have a great Terrain Model, this should be available in your editor too, something like Tiris DGM or so. After your edit, way way/116916036 forms a very nice arch; but to make it look like that on the ground, some construction work would be needed.
