Hello, why did you downgrade Summerlin to place=suburb? Summerlin South, which is part of Summerlin (according to the Summerlin website), is outside of the city limits.

179669801

Okay. The first part makes sense, but for the second, the wiki says, "roads that can be used by non-motorway drivers should not be tagged with highway=motorway_link." Technically, it is possible to go from Decatur to Valley View and from Rancho, MLK, or Pinto Ln to Charleston or Sahara, all without having to use I-11 or I-15. You did something similar at the Centennial Bowl, where slip roads caught up in the junction were tagged as either highway=primary_link (for Ann Road and Rancho Drive) or highway=secondary_link (for Oso Blanca Road and Sky Pointe Drive). What's the difference between the _link roads in the Centennial Bowl and Spaghetti Bowl junctions? Any info helps here.

Some of these already had a tag of "alt_name= Deputy Bruce Lee [Memorial] Highway".

Route relations aren't the same thing as turn restriction relations. Continuing forward on Craig Road (onto Fitzgerald Boulevard) leads you straight into the Nellis Air Force Base, which is restricted territory. The "No right turn" relations are for the slip lanes.

Hello, why did you randomly disconnect numerous road and bus routes at the Las Vegas Boulevard and Craig Road intersection? SR 604 and 573 meet at that intersection according to the NDOT's list of state-maintained highways. RTC Routes 113, 603, and 604 also use that intersection, according to the RTC's official website.

Why did you change these roads' classifications to trunk? highway=trunk is used for major, nationwide or statewide routes or bypasses, like SR 160 (which connects Las Vegas to Pahrump) or US 95 (major cross-country highway).

Apparently, it was designated by a law: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstate_5_in_Oregon#Route_description

I feel like I would be repeating myself for the 100th time by saying something like, "name = Highway 79 is redundant because there's already ref= SD 79".

179274395

Well, I did try to add shoulder=* to some of the ways. Maybe I'll do it once I have more time.

Why did you upgrade this portion of Nimitz Boulevard to trunk? It doesn't connect to any other trunk roads south of I-8.

179274395

Okay... Well, how do I tag these, then?

178024869

Oh, okay then. (The "splitting" of CA 56 confused me; this seemed to clear things up for me.) I went ahead and added Ted Williams Fwy back to the CA 56 relations and removed Carmel Valley Rd from them.

None of the ways were ever tagged with alt_name=Heartland_Expressway or anything like that. Even if there was a relation tagged with name=Heartland_Expressway, that wouldn't help since addr:*=* keys and Nominatum (or any data consumer, for that matter) would associate a relation's name=* tag with its associated ways.

Wikipedia says that a certain NHS route is/will be designated the Heartland Expressway. "Highway 79" is already covered by ref= SD 79.

178788886

Yes, I'd like that, actually. Speaking of, I actually did join Slack a few weeks ago and have messaged a bit there.

178788886

Oh, okay. Would destination:ref= I 15 be appropriate for this situation?

178746644

Okay, I'll go change it. Interestingly, it was already primary, but someone else downgraded it to secondary to "match how locals use the roads."

178788886

"Unofficial" road designation? That's very interesting because street-level images show what looks like an I-15 Ring Road (that's what the sign says); the now-deleted relation was my attempt to trace out its route by following the arrows, as indicated on the signs. What's up with this? And what's the proper tagging, if any?

Trunk roads do have to connect to other trunk roads and motorways; otherwise, you'll be left with a stub that doesn't connect to any other trunk roads or motorways.
