Hey there! Nice work adding the construction values—I overlooked that. I wanted to point out that the access tags are not redundant for roads that are closed or under construction. The standard prefix for a “closed road” sets the access to no in order to supersede all other access values. You can see evidence of this in tag info where 21,000+ highway=construction also have access=no. I don’t think you’d want to go and remove all those tags. The thought, as I recall for GitHub, is that a closed road is not accessible, thus it is explicitly no access. https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/tags/highway=construction#combinations

Aloha! Thanks for adding the Hamilton neighborhood as a boundary. I updated the boundary a bit to fit the OSM standards and conventions relation/12724042 . I'm glad you added this because I've been meaning to bring in all the city neighborhoods as admin boundaries, after discussing with some other local mappers. Is your motivation a running app like CityStrides? I like those and use a few of them. Thanks!

Additionally, it looks like the Harford Heights isn't totally removed but you've deleted the full thing. Part of this building contains address data. The address should be preserved when removing the building (but I wouldn't have removed the building here.)

Boop, please write more about why you're removing items when doing so. Your not writing good comments despite calls from the community to do so has caused you to be blocked, osm.org/user_blocks/5034 which is unfortunate. You seem to care about the OSM project, so please type out a sentence or two about your changes. I always try to answer What, Why, and How in mine, feel free to look at my edits as an example. In these edits, you deleted a bunch of buildings but didn't add any back. Are they under construction? if so, you should add a construction area to notify other mappers of the reason for the deletions. Then write a comment saying there is construction there. I would always try to trace the new building under construction and add the appropriate tags if you can.

Hi there. These roads are outdated due to construction in the area. Please note the landuse=construction and then be wary of adding roads that may have been removed within that construction area.

Since you seem to be interested in railroad edits, you may be interested to know that the still standing Ma & Pa abutments in Towson are historic designated. I've updated the tags and added the plaque on the west one. Here that is: node/8731261473

Hello there Amazon editor. The entrance road to that assisted living place is best tagged as service, rather than residential, because it is not a named street. Otherwise, keep up the good work.

There is still a disused level crossing at the Walmart exit. Any reason why it was removed?

| 73852209 | Hi there. I don't see a park there on Cawdor Ct. That is just someone's yard. I think we should remove it. Thoughts? Parcel data:

When the follow tool would be too tedious I'll split up the big area into a multipolygon then reuse one of the sides in both the old and new. Does that make sense? could be helpful here.
|
My only comment is to watch for non-wooded areas when covering big swaths of woods this way. There are a couple of homes in clearings in the woods that I just made using a multipolygon as an example (changeset/103006808#map=13/39.4008/-77.6473). Also, I tagged the grassland along the powerline break. Those are useful to do, to give some definition to the woods. All in all good work here, keep it up.

Hey there. I see you've been working along South Mountain and the AT adding forestry land cover. Nice work! I am working in the area on updating the protected lands boundaries with the latest info from Maryland DNR and NPS, and per the latest updated wiki on how to tag protected lands. If you see any sudden changes to the way the natural areas are tagged, that's what's going on. I love to cover those areas with trees, like your doing, so keep that up. Cheers!
