Sure, so start by checking out this document osm.wiki/Import . The procedures are in there. Before importing buildings, we usually discuss with a mailing list, and then have the data vetted by the larger community. In this case, there is an excessive number of nodes which add some complexity to the map that is usually unnecessary and may have some negative impacts on the system. You'll want to write up a wiki on the procedures used to clean the data, any translation and what not. Check out the docs and let me know if you need help getting started. Also, what OSM groups in Annapolis are there? I'm up in Baltimore and am always looking for other Maryland OSMers to network with.

Hey, firstly, welcome to the project! I think that it is great you found a way that some government data could improve the map. I have imported a substantial amount of data into the map as well. There is a process for this however, where the import should be documented and where there is local community involvement. To chat further, why don't you join us on Slack to discuss? https://osmus-slack.herokuapp.com/ We'd love to hear from you!

For the buildings in this changeset, what is the source?
Source should have been "Bing"
I fixed it and added some more detail around the area.
ah, here is the issue, someone put the water tags on the way, rather than the relation: way/75034503
There seems to be some duplicate ways by Great Falls where the canal is a lake
Chetan, I noticed that the Wikidata article on OSM wiki points to a relation that was deleted in this changeset. See osm.wiki/Talk:Key:wikidata#Example_link_to_Taj_Mahal_was_deleted_on_OSM Perhaps you can add the wikidata link back to the proper way / relation which best represents the Taj on OSM? I am not familiar enough with 3D buildings or the Taj Mahal to edit it myself. Thanks!

Welcome to OSM Cheryl! I am going to remove the "home" name from your node because you don't want everyone knowing where your home is. But that address information is very useful!! Could you add some more of the addresses in the park?
Chris, welcome to the OSM project! I like that you're mapping state parks. I've worked with the Maryland DNR to get parks better mapped in MD, and would love to do the same in DE. Want to join forces?

Please provide a more descriptive changeset comment. If you're going to be updating road attributes, remove the tiger verified tag to show it has been verified.
You must have a lot of local knowledge. Could you be a bit more descriptive with the changeset comments?
Hi, do you have any documentation for changing all of the county road refs to the (###) format?
I would love to do another building import, this time for AA co, let me know if you want to help. It's just a matter of finding the time.
I can do it late, but if you want to, you can. no rush from me though :)
I see. I think BRNA is bacon ridge natural area. Probably a part of that nearby park. for the DNR import I elected to keep these kinds of reserves as nature reserves on OSM, since they're not really places you go for recreation.
Hey, is there a wiki link for this import? I am curious what these abbreviations mean and why they weren't expanded.
Awesome! I want to hike up there. Good view?
