The source imagery for the buildings is Bing aerial imagery.

You can draw the track on top of the street using the same nodes if it is a single track but I wouldn't recommend doing it since it would hide the street name behind the track and it would be hard to edit when a new line gets added. Two parallel tracks using the same nodes is also incorrect and will make it very hard to edit in the future. The best thing would be to leave them as they are. It may not be perfect but it is the best solution.

Hi judylin,

Thanks for mapping these buildings, but please make sure that you square their corners. You can do it by selecting the building and pressing Q.

I see where you are coming from but there is also another side to that statement. When you merged the two tram tracks that means that there is a single track that is used in both directions, which is incorrect in that case since there are two tracks. You can check the wiki for the right way to map tram tracks (railway=tram). The wiki is also useful when you are not sure how something should be mapped.

Hello dkaparis,

Can I ask you why you have merged the tram tracks into a single line even though there are two tracks on these streets?

Hello and welcome to OSM, Mangini

It looks like you are adding building addresses but this is not the proper way. Currently you are adding tourism apartments (i.e. apartments that can be rented to tourists) which is not right. For a proper example you can check way/224329415
If you have any questions, let me know.

Cheers, Dimitar

The description should be "Added some natural areas in Lyulin 6"

If they are connected to drains, shouldn't they be tagged with waterway=ditch or waterway=drain?

It looks like the fixes have rendered. You can see them here

Thanks for telling me about these mistakes. I've just fixed them. The only thing that I didn't fix is the first island that you mentioned since it wasn't visible on any imagery. I've also spotted another mistake which I will try to fix now.

I just submitted a post on the Italian forum. I will wait until it gets approved and get feedback before continuing with the changes.

100375667

It looks like I've forgotten to do that. Where can I write to the Italian community?

I haven't introduced this schema. The problem wouldn't even exist if by creating the new schema, the old one was deprecated. Unfortunately it wasn't done, but if it doesn't get done now it won't get done.

100093213

This is what we are trying to solve. We want to remove waterway=riverbank in order to not have duplicate water schema. I don't see where is the problem.

100093213

Are there any other countries that are guarded by people like you? Are there any projects except yours that rely on this exact tagging and doesn't want to support the newer standard? I don't think that any company or project that doesn't want to improve over time will not survive for a lot of time. Even the governments upgrade their systems and scrap older technology.

100093213

The only data consumer that doesn't want the change is you. The new schema does not have any advantages FOR YOU. The world DOES NOT spin around you or Lithuania. I do not enforce these changes since anyone can revert anything if they so desire. I don't know who are you referring by "we", but I'm pretty sure that enforcing 15 years old policy isn't very professional. Also the fact that you have an account that is made before mine doesn't mean anything.

100093213

These data consumers won't be here for a lot of time if they haven't changed anything in 15 years. If things don't change, this project will become even bigger chaos. Also you aren't the person to tell me what to do or not to do.

100093213

There could be things that I have missed and there could be things that I can't fix since the imagery is not the best in some places. About your last question: it's not my decision. It is a project ran by another user. The goal is to unify the tagging system so that data consumers don't have to deal with different sets of tags. Also the existence of two way to tag the same thing thing is not necessary and generally decreases the quality of the data.
