I believe there was more than one. I didn't partake in those to discuss the deprecation of various tags into emergency=water_rescue, but that's what's happened. That's what this changeset implements.

Talk-GB & Talk-ie (if my post has been authorised yet) contains an ongoing discussion in how to ensure there's the correct number of objects to correspond with the RNLI database & other independent rescue services.

PS Just because a discussion wasn't declared it's /not/ "reasonable to assume that this mechanical edit wasn't discussed."

It doesn't have to be related to the individual object.
It's a valid, generic URL for a generic chain. It's the site used to search for individual shop details. It's much better than having no website at all.

Wikidata has a poor user interface & is always at least one extra, unnecessary action.
A direct link is always preferential.

Have you removed similar URLs from other shops & facilities?

Instead of removing them could you replace them with the generic home page?
