Oh yes, that little road linking the two carriage ways of a trunk road is a "residential" road. Where are the houses along the road?

Some how you created areas overlapping themselves. I just corrected some of them near Pak Meng (Trang).

You're right, that's a residential. I checked roads connecting to it, they seem to be tagged correctly (though the path to the south could be connected to the road there; done).
I use "hwpi" as a temporary key when I create maps; if we could some when agree on a good tagging scheme for highways, this key could be removed again (and currently, it does not interfere with any other tagging schemes).

That's a temporary tag for highways. The group of farangs mapping in Thailand still could not agree upon a reasonable highway tagging scheme resembling international highway tagging standards.

According to current imagery, this road leads thru the country side from Jn Makam Mahsuri south wards to a small village. Hence it is NOT a residential.
