Hola rodolfo, genial que hayas actualizado la ruta de PK, solo tengo algunas observaciones y consejos para editar más sencillo en ID:

1. el nombre de las rutas debe seguir más o menos un formato "Tipo Vehículo #Ref: Parada Inicial → Parada Final", en este caso "Bus #Ref: Calle 85 → Plaza Camacho"

2. El #ref es el código o sigla de la ruta, es muy importante. En Cochabamba son letras del abecedario, números, combinación o al final si no tuviera una abreviación... podría ser #ref: VS o 2 simplemente (ahora esta PK2), sin ida o vuelta, o sea, el mismo #ref para las dos rutas.

3. el texto ida y vuelta no debe estar incluido ni en la ruta ni en los stops, porque el concepto de ida-vuelta depende de cada usuario y su ubicación inicial

4. es muy útil añadir las etiquetas de la ruta "bicycle=yes" (si permite llevar bici) y "wheelchair=no" (si es accesible para silla de ruedas)

5. todas las rutas de un mismo #ref deben estar dentro una relación type=route_master y route_master=bus con el nombre "Bus #Ref" y los otros datos genéricos

6. en el editor iD no es muy intuitivo para las rutas pero se debe añadir las paradas a la ruta desde el inicio al fin y luego posiblemente ordenar si se ingresó en desorden.

But, desert only describe surface feature. This "salar" is more than desert, maybe desert have to map in other area.

Yes and no, as far as I read about this salar (salt flat) it is an endorheic basin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endorheic_basin) with a salt "crust covering" brine waters from the lake.

I read "natural=playa" proposal which doesn't seem good. On the other hand, "natural=dry_lake" seems to be unopposed, but I don't agree to create new "main" tags, but maybe a sub-tag.

Combination of tags:

natural=water
intermittent=yes (because water is not present all the time)
seasonal=wet_season (to describe which seasons are with water)
salt=yes
surface=salt
geological=salt_pan (for geological feature)

I was thinking of add "basin=*" tag, but apparently in OSM it refers to man-made features.

In a first (scientific) study in 1975, the white area drawn on the map was considered a seasonal basin or seasonal evaporating lake (a tentative label could be natural=water + water=basin), but it is also considered a deposit of mineral resources (potassium, salt, magnesium, lithium, boron). The drawn area is the one that is seasonally flooded by several rivers that flow into it and a part of the rainfall.

I have yet to review some books and studies and will be proposing labels to those who edited the other salt flats.

I also think that "wetland" is not the most ideal, but I restored to this tag because I wanted to standardize "temporarily" with the other salt flats of the triangle (salar atacama and salar hombre muerto).

But, the drawn area isn't exactly a "desert", this definition I think is more precise: "Salt Pans: Naturally formed salt pans are expanses of flat land, found in deserts, where the surface is covered in salt and other minerals." https://saltassociation.co.uk/education/physical-geography/

As mentioned in this comment (osm.wiki/Talk:Tag:natural%3Ddesert#Widely_Misused), these natural elements should have their own tag, but as each case has different characteristics it will be difficult to standardize.

Locally in Bolivia, it isn't considered a desert, even though there are several deserts in the area. I think the area drawn has multiple tags describing parts of what it is. The tag "geological=salt_plan" could satisfy the geological description, as "tourism=attraction" satisfies the photogenic feature of the place...

Eso imaginaba, pero también creo que definen como población en genérico y no el tipo (pueblo/villa/asentamiento/barrio/ciudad). No revisé las publicaciones recientes, ahora tienen categorizado?

Sobre los nombres, en parte tienes razón de preservar, pero quizá para llevar una correlación con el INE lo mejor sea registrar un código (tipo ref:ine=*), en el nuevo censo ya tienen listados de las poblaciones de los municipios. Iré restituyendo los que cambié. Yo pienso, que en name=* debería estar como los municipios los nombran, (buena fuente son los PDM's porque los redactan ellos).

Escribiré a la lista explicando estas cosas y planteando el posible problema, hasta mientras este cambio queda en suspenso...

Hola, esta calle tiene sentido hacia el este, se puede comprobar con las imágenes mapillary, pero también pasé por ahí y ése es el sentido.

Ahora pensando un poco, el cambio que hiciste no está del todo mal, y representa que a los lados hay cordones de acera elevados, pero me parece muy muy genérico, qué sucede si al lado derecho es elevado y a la izquierda es para sillas de ruedas? igual aunque genérico mejor detalles en el mapa es mejor.

Hola Jaime, gracias por editar y que bien que hayas usado la app Street Complete para detallar el mapa, siempre hay algo nuevo.

por ahora en Cochabamba es una de las pocas ciudades en Bolivia (quizá la única) que tenemos detalles de cruces peatonales, pero en muchos lugares solo para advertir a los autos/motos/bicis y peatones que "existe" un paso de zebra.

En muchos lugares cerca a parques/plazas y jardineras de avenidas tenemos mapeados pasos peatonales que conectan a las aceras y ahí a los costados hay los "cordones de acera" (eso sí son los que pensabas).

Con las nuevas imágenes satelitales en las que se pueden ver claramente los pasos peatonales, estoy aumentando los detalles.... 😉

Hola, kerb=raised significa que son pasos peatonales elevados y que el auto sube encima... eso casi no existe en Cochabamba a excepción de 4 o 5 en lugares específicos...

Hi, route relation F6 is wrong, perhaps because of some edits made without knowing the Bolivian reality.

Maybe in other countries all the routes have continuity, but in Bolivia there are several routes that have jumps because the design of the route is not done by planning, instead every time a section of road is built it is added to the route.

My mistake, route F6 is continuous, route F9 is the one with a jump between Ipati - Boyoube.

Some examples: F4 (relation/167835 jump between Patacamay - Caracollo), F9 (have two jumps between La Guardia - Pailón & Ipati - Boyoube, recently edited by adding that jump to route), F10 (jump between Los Troncos - San Ramón), F24 (jump between Moxos - San Antonio)...
