Bin der Meinung, dass vor dem Hochladen geklärt werden soll, ob der Track nicht schon in der Datenbank ist... Das scheint einigen Datenlieferanten egal zu sein. Finde ich sehr Schade!

I tried to work with JOSM. But without success :(
As far as I understand it, I have to download am map (e.g. by marking) and then edit the data.
When I select an area (by lat and lon or marking in the interactive map) I just receive a 403 fault.
What did I make wrong ?

First try in lower part of Spicheren, France. Adding to residential roads.

Looks like the german-french border is not quite correct there... but on location you won't see any sign of a border anyway ;-)

Strassen sind soweit erfasst, allerdings fehlen noch viele Namen. Mein erster Versuch mit dem Diktiergerät hat dazu beigetragen ;-)
Bleibe wohl besser beim Schreiben.

Haltingen sollte zu geschätzte 75 % erfasst sein.

Added the Windmill pub on Clapham Common

My first update to openstreetmap. Saw that lots of my local roads were labelled incorrectly or not at all. Also joined up some roads.

Added some additional point of interest such as postboxes and pubs. Not quite sure what to put Balham Leisuire Centre down as on Elmfield Road, so just labelled it as a public_building.

one interesting feature that's difficult to map - there are several roads which are unexpectedly difficult to cross given their size (no traffic islands, no pedestrian lights anywhere, and views obstructed by the curve of a bridge)

I gave awesm's edits a look over and added some details missed from our Bushwalk on Monday.

Tried to upload tracks for Setia Alam Eco Park, but getting "connection was reset error" from the server. Will try again later.

I split I-15, I-215, and the motorway links at bridges and added bridge tags. I also added layer information for this interchange. This "leaked" north to Twain but the bridges, layers, etc. aren't complete there.

TIGER data doesn't match reality here. The alignment of Blue Diamond Rd was changed so that traffic can flow smoothly onto Windmill Ln. The realignment also forced a change to the motorway links.

A piece of Blue Diamond Rd was renamed W Moberley Ave.

OSM was edited to match these changes. I also renamed part of Blue Diamond Rd to "old Blue Diamond Rd". This easement may not exist any more but the asphalt is still there so I didn't want to delete the road from OSM.

Have been working on updating the Downtown Area and the Port of Tampa.

Highlights include:

-Updated 22nd Street corridor, including new alignment.

-Corrected onramps and access to the Crosstown Expressway.

-Added a number of parks within the Downtown Area (ex: Gaslight Square Park)

-Added one-way detail to downtown city streets.

-Removed a number of streets that have been vacated by the City, mostly due to new development.

-Added additional detail to rail lines within the Port of Tampa.

-Added TECO Streetcar line to Downtown Tampa Area (not completed yet through Ybor City)

Will continue to be working in the Tampa Area as time allows. Will keep the Open Street Map community informed of progress.

Einen Urlaub im Nordschwarzwald nutzend habe ich per Fahrrad das Straßennetz von Waldachtal -Salzstetten, -Heiligenbronn und -Cresbach, sowie Haiterbach-West und -Industriegebiet und außerdem Horb -Altheim und -Grünmettstetten weitgehend vollständig aufgenommen. Einige wenige Sackgassen fehlen. Die Leute auf dem Dorf sind meist recht freundlich, aber dann wiederum misstrauisch, wenn man jeden Winkel abfährt. Dafür sind jetzt einige Feld-, Wald- und Radwege rund um Salzstetten mit drin.

Maybe we should contact the minister in question (Paul Lucas) and ask him if he wants to help OSM get Brisbane up-to-date. I'm sure the state government has some data that would be useful.

I'm not exactly sure how to start going about doing that though? Any ideas?

The only contact I've found for Paul Lucas so far is (07) 3396 0066, but a letter outlining OSM, and how other governments have made use of it might be a better approach.

uploaded a ferry-way an some points in ibiza and Formentera yesterday evening/night.

Was just the first try to get a bit used to josm.

But I have left a lot of points in Formentera to be drawn.

Don't know how to call all those "caminos", have to search around a bit before I start, I think.

Been mapping Dar es Salaam for the past few weeks.. Finally done like 1/10th of the City.

B 503: vierspurigen Streckenabschnitt in "trunk" geändert. Die B 503 endet schon bei Sprenge, dann weiter als L 45 (aber wegen Ausbauzustand und Zufahrten trotzdem primary) bis Krusendorf und als L 285 (secondary) bis zur B 76 bei Schnellmark.

Im now editing and mapping out more of Mount Doug park in Victoria, BC
.. I saw note on the user diries about there being a rule of only a max number of 16 relations aloud for a bus route. .. i dont think that applies to what im doing. However, it might. .. i think the answer was to have the point list all the bus stops and the point which is part of the route show the list with a comma after each bus.

Im also working on uploading data from my trip last year .. but only a few files at a time, to not be overloading the servers.
