I think the 45 mph speed limit and the tight exits and entry from North Queen Street are suggestive that this isn't really a motorway. If you look through the history, this stretch has gone back and forth quite a bit, but I trust Joseph RP's judgement since he's done a lot of this in the area, and it looks like he ultimately settled on highway=trunk. You can check out the tagging guidance for Virginia here: osm.wiki/Virginia/Highway_classification#Motorway.

| 166371510 | Hi alstond, welcome to OSM. Can you explain your rationale here for changing this to motorway? Generally, highway hierarchy and tagging is pretty well thought out in the DMV area.

Hi prodsevv, what are you doing here with creating these fake objects and then subsequently deleting them, calling them vandalism?
Thanks for flagging that, my bad. I've reverted in changeset/164270048 and added a note to both objects so that others don't do the same.
| 163644806 | I went ahead and fixed this edit because I'm assuming this law firm does not occupy all of this 12 story building. It is now a separate object from the building. I also removed the marketing language, which is not permitted on OSM.

| 163673451 | Hi H-Q, welcome to OSM. Is there a reason you duplicated this building and gave it the name you did? All edits uploaded to OSM are visible to all users, whether or not you're "practicing".

| 163546889 | Hi, Foxhall Crescent is not closed to the public, right? Why did you mark it as private?
Yeah, POIs and buildings can have the same address info as far as I know, so I don't think you need to remove that information unless it's wrong.
I plan to carry out my suggestion of using `dispersed=yes` on these objects next week, so please let me know if you have another idea, I'm happy to modify my approach!
How would you feel about moving "(disperso)" from the `name` tag and adding `dispersed=yes` to the object? That would preserve the information suggesting this is a non-standard community but move that info out of the `name` field.
Hey, just an oversight, I will fix this when I'm back at my computer next week or feel free to do it when you have a chance if the spirit moves you. Thanks for the catch.
Hi Robert, my reading of the OSM wiki guidance on US admin boundaries suggests that townships are fair game to map. And some township boundaries predate me (see https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1Tzn), so I think it's more a matter of them being a pain in the butt to create. Happy to discuss further.
Ok, done in changeset/158575570
Why should `disperso` be included in the `name` field and not another tag, if at all? See osm.wiki/ES:Nombres#Nombre_es_solo_el_nombre
Hi Kevin, welcome to OpenStreetMap! Can you describe what you were trying to do here?
Hi JJIglesias, I see you've reverted this changeset already. No software or projects use `is_in` because it is deprecated, but that's fine if you want to have it. This change was more to remove `(disperso)` that you have added to the end of the `name` tag of each of these items, which is certainly not a part of these locations' names. It appears to be a census designation from INE that you've imported into the database without documentation. If you think that designation is meaningful and should change the way the `place` is tagged, it should be an additional tag (eg `dispersed/rural=yes`), not in the name.
Hi JJIglesias. What data that I removed was necessary and why?
Hi Dimitar, I'm not quite sure what I saw or what I was thinking at the time, so feel free to do what you think makes most sense!
Please stop making these changes. They are not based in reality and every possible source (VDOT, speed limit signs, etc) confirm that the previous max_speed was correct.
Thanks Mike. I try not to touch the state boundaries because those are by and large much more recently updated, as you mention. I may have slid a node or two laterally along the state border because the county border "intersection" was slightly misplaced.
