I'm not sure if this portion of SR 156 has the correct name. The street signs at the Union Road intersection only refer to it as "HWY 156", and the intersection at The Alameda lacks any street signs at all. How could one find the name of a state highway if no signs exist on the ground? Maybe it doesn't have a name?

Just a bit north is a viewpoint labelled "Sunset Point" with a stub of a road named the same. Is this name really used twice at a short distance?
