Is part of the track one way? In that case it needs to be split.

If this is actually trafficable by vehicle then I think the more appropriate tagging is a Land Access Track. It also looks like some parts of this track are duplicated with the Raptor Ridge track, plus there is a section of track in the south that very nearly crosses over itself. Is that actually the case?

Is this actually a real place or just a personal marker?

No drama at all - Here is a treat for you - images of Tasmania from a colleague - enjoy!

No worries - Its only that larger group - I cleaned the few outliers on the eastern shore of the Derwent River. The Microsoft buildings were created on older imagery (I suspect) and in more rural areas they are OK in some places. We are still trying to get access to our government imagery which is better in small rural towns but when we get access to that is anyone's guess. Many thanks.

Its just disappointing when the imagery is so good, Just check out the houses in the block next door by Andy_T_56. He is leading the charge on getting great building footprints. https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1zUv

Please dont just blindly accept the Microsoft Buildings. They just about all need adjustment, especially in this area where there is fantastic imagery. Any chance you can go back and fix all these buildings?

This is a shared path for both bikes and walkers is it not? If so then the highway=path is the better tagging with foot=designated and bicycle=designated (as per the ID Shared Path preset)

Hi there emilytrau - its also useful to split an address number like 17/6 into the two component parts - unit 17 and the street number of 6. Cheers

Is this actually a place or is this a personal marker for something?

Personally, given its no longer in use I think its appropriate to delete the offensive point altogether (or move it to openhistoricalmap)

If you get any trips down the island then that would also help. Have fun down there - love the news post! https://www.antarctica.gov.au/news/stations/macquarie-island/2023/this-week-at-macquarie-island-28-july-2023/

Hi Kimo - In most cases they were not an aisle in a parking lot. If its the only road in then then the service road tag is sufficient. If there is parking alongside the road then different tags could be added to indicate parking along the road.

Nice work on Macca! If you get an opportunity it would be great if you could load up some GPS traces around the station and up to Razorback Lookout (and beyond) as it would really help with image alignment.

Many thanks - if you have contacts in SA then please feel free to see if you can get a waiver for the imagery. Its worth a try every couple of years just in case they have a change of heart. Contact me via my profile if you would like some guidance.

Hi Jamang1999 - you appear to be using some custom imagery that we dont have permission to use. Can you confirm if a waiver has been signed for use of this imagery? If not, we will need to revert all the changes in your most recent changesets.

Welcome to OpenStreetMap - Nice work on the buildings but its best to edit existing building outline instead of deleting and redrawing (saves the history that way). You can also use the Q key after assigning a building which will 'square' the building corners.

Have fun mapping!

Hi folks FYI - Phone numbers in Australia should be added to OSM according to the following format with the country code +61 x xxxx xxxx, (+61 xxx xxx xxx for mobiles) or use the phone:AU key if a 1300 or 1800 number as per the wiki guidelines osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines/Australian_features

To get the + symbol on a mobile device numeric keypad I reckon you will need to do a LONG press on the zero. (I am on IOS but I think this works)
I have just updated the Community Centre phone number – Cheers

Hi Toddletoon - It seems there are lots of cojoined units which you are spotting in Burnie. You should really split the buildings and then add the unit numbers to each. This is what you are seeing in lots of instances. Not really weird, but you can see the unit numbers in LIST Topographic
