Zum einen wird oftmals in Routenplänen in der Kurzform eher von der "Freudenreichkapelle" statt "St. Leonhard" gesprochen, weil der örtliche Bezug zum Freundenreichsattel und zu den Freudenreichalmen wesentlich ist. Zum anderen gibt es in der Nähe noch die "Wallfahrtskirche St. Leonhard" in Schliersee-Fischhausen, sodass mit "St. Leonhard" allein eine Doppeldeutigkeit vorliegt. |
