But as far as Ican see you never marked any task as completed and ready for validation.

At the moment ESRI Imagery are more recent then bing in most parts of Harare . It is obviously a planned street layout here. So I would assume that this little connections are temporary shortcuts or leftover tracks. Once the development of this area is finished they will disappear. Maybe they are already gone.

I sometimes recomment to estimate the width of a road this way:

In Josm zoom in until the scale reads ~ 5m
Draw a 3m line underneath the scale. While the line is still highlighted hit "cntl" + "o". Now you have a circle 3m in diamter. Move this circle over the roads. Only when this circle fits over the complete waylenght, the road can be tagged as "track" or better. In doubt, always tag the next lower classification, or don't map the road/path at all.

In my Opinion all this ways should be tagged as path.

please load this area again. Go to the Josm Validation panel and click on the Validation button. You should now get some error messages. Like 30 crossing highways, 25 crossing buildings and so on. Only after all errors are cleared you can set the tile status to validated. With your latest changesets you have introduced far more errors as you may have fixed

It is not a road at all, to me this line looks more like a fence.
And elsewhere - two tracks left in the sand by a tractor do not implicate the existance of a unclassified road.
With all this bogus roads, the map is allready useless.
