There is a "quiet lanes" sign for Annscroft here in the bush. It looks like it extends East and not North into the village itself. Probably need to check with the council as its part of the old QL scheme with no "leaving" sign

way/72086845/history has surface = hardcore

What is this? Equivalent of surface=compacted (as smashed up rubble)? Or maybe it is closed to surface=gravel?

Or maybe it should be tagged as a different entry from standard surface values?

If not and it is a distinct surface - can you document it at OSM Wiki?

See https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1CM3 to detect more unusual surface values (move to your preferred map location and press run button)

There is a newish sign on the corner here for "Rantipole Lane" - I'm not entirely sure if this is meaning Plealey Lane (way/187308411/) or the currently unnamed road going west (way/187308411/). I believe its supposed to be the unnamed road - there are property listings for Yew Tree cottage that give the name although this could be a mistake in the listing https://themovemarket.com/tools/propertyprices/yew-tree-cottage-rantipol-lane-plealey-shrewsbury-sy5-0xn note this gives it without the e so an alt_name is probably needed (it is 100% with the e on the sign).

Unable to answer "What is the house number of this building?" for way/118819690 via StreetComplete 32.1:

Inner businesses have 'Bellstone Court' as part of their address; businesses on the outer of the building have 'Bellstone' (the road name) as their address.

Having the city walls mapped as both a barrier and a highway feature feels wrong (one feature one element) and something that will mess up routers. Would mapping it as an area or relation make more sense?

There is a way following the walls with just layer=2 on it. Could this be repurposed?
