Hi,

please note: changesets should be local.

To avoid conflicts and as a courtesy to reviewers, it is recommended to:

• combine changes in a small geographical area (within a city, district or province)

• keep changes within the same country

• upload/save changes before moving on to map in a different area

Why? Have a look at the section
"Geographical size of changesets" on this wiki page:
osm.wiki/Changeset#Geographical_size_of_changesets

Thanks for considering, have a nice day and happy mapping!

No problem, I'll adapt it later.

Good morning, according to Wiki the sub-key "tower:*" would require a "man_made=tower". Does this match with "man_made=mast"?
And shouldn't "description:en" be used for a bilingual description?
Best regards

The entire Bregenzerwald is made up of hundreds of small hamlets, which are gradually being grouped together into village associations. The hamlet of Melisau was grouped into the municipality of Egg. In order to be able to correctly read the GIS in Austria, it is necessary to become familiar with the operation there, as it is not possible to insert unnamed residential roads in the GIS. For this reason, all residential roads throughout Austria always have a name, which is incorrect in reality. In order for "addr:street" to be used, a physical street name on a sign is required. See example: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Haselstauden-Stra%C3%9Fenschilder.jpg
Respectively, the name must have been dedicated to the street. This is not the case here, there is no sign. The hamlet is called "Melisau", so "addr:place" was already correct before.

It is correct that the addresses here are "Melisau 123, 6863 Egg", but Melisau is not a single street, but the entire village. I am therefore changing it back so that it matches the more than 100 other villages with the same system. Thank you.

*official and legal name

Hello, the street here is definitely not called "Melisau", there is no street sign for it. The official and official name here is "Bregenzerwaldstraße". The addr:-tags should therefore remain in place.

Was würdest du denn setzen und warum?

141100712
