Hi - yes the building really exists. I mapped its extent from GPS. You're correct that the Poplar Union etc lives in the ground floor - however I do not know whether the buildings are truly separate or should be merged. However I do know that the Western extent is correct.

Thanks. I think they're not quite the same place but they're both part of the same building? If so, then I'd suggest you actually add the Assembly Hall as a separate node inside the town hall. That has advantages: you can specify totally different properties for the two things (e.g. phone number). But at minimum, I hope you don't mind fixing the name issue. Cheers.

Hi - thanks for contributing to OpenStreetMap... but I see a problem here. Why did you edit this to say that "Isington Assembly Hall" is the Afrikaans name for this building? It's definitely not Afrikaans!

What would have been much better would be to use the "alt_name" tag, if you wanted to add an alternative name. Would you please do that, perhaps?
