Conversion of painted cycle lanes to protected cycle path in progress. Phase 1 works between Burgess Road and Cherrywood Gardens due to complete December 2024

Works due to start imminently to widen this sidewalk into a 3m wide shared path and upgrade the crossing to connect to the new bridge.

Are the two sections of Waterside Way going to be joined together? Looks to be some ground clearance and construction in progress in the gap

New retention basin under construction 2026-02-09

Changes to this crossing point and hedge due to take place early 2026 - including dropped kerbs, removal of bollards, realignment of hedgrow etc, some preliminary works imminent

Public Realm improvements ongoing - central paving to be replaced by flower beds, pavements resurfaced (including replacements of block paving with asphalt) on Meadows Way/Trumas Road/Ryehill Street & London Road from Great Northern Close to Trent Bridge. Phase one of the works (south of Waldron Close) due to complete May 2026 with Phase 2 (resurfacing) north of that into 2027. The planting seems to be the most relevant changes that will want mapping (Box Junctions are also being added - are those mappable?)

Riverside path now closed until the Waterside Bridge reopens, expected Spring 2026.

Due to be widened with localised tweaks to the position to accommodate the bridge
