Meanwhile, I changed a forest polygon into a MP and made some holes corresponding to 2 ponds & 1 meadow (relation/6887348) and the rendering is OK. Strange that this bug only occurs when the 2 polygons should be rendered equally (as there is no different rendering of forest havig needleleaved or broadleaved in the default osm-carto style)! So if I have well understood it might be fixed by a new release of the osm-carto (https://github.com/gravitystorm/openstreetmap-carto/pull/2527)?
