Entrances and shops are two distinct elements. The entrances can be mapped as entrance=shop. I would leave the shop nodes at the center of their area (as said totera, inside the building).

I know the wiki, and usually the linked page is rather osm.wiki/Changeset#Geographical_size_of_changesets (this edit is not a mechanical one). But they literally added one tag to six relations. Nothing difficult to "mantain" (whatever that means in thix context) or modify, that's what I was commenting about. It would be different if they modified thousand of boundary nodes or something else, but this is not the case. The changeset comment is quite descriptive and is easy to understand what they did. I'm also annoyed by big changeset popping up in my RSS feed, I just don't get this fever to comment every one of them.

Uhm, not really? They just added "driving_side=right" to the Cambogia, Laos, Russia, North Korea, South Korea and British Indian Ocean Territory. I guess touching the Russia relation would create a big bbox alone.
