natural=mountain_pass;saddle si puó sistemare con natural=saddle + mountain_pass=yes. Ma "mountain_pass=yes marks the highest point of a mountain road", quindi secondo me andrebbe aggiunto come nodo della highway.

I don't follow you, you called Khidistavi a vandal ("Changing vandal changes by Khidistavi") and now you say you are following their advices? Anyway, if they said so, they are wrong: the barrier=* tag is to be used for physical barriers (fenced, walls, blocks, bollards ecc.), not for boundaries.
