if an element doesn't have a wikipedia/wikidata/wikimedia_commons page please don't tag it as =de:null or =null, not using the tag is enough.

Nope, it was not "fixed", you just accepted the suggestion of the editor, which was wrong. In this case you should have deleted the building=* tag, since it's not a building. I fixed it
