A me sembrava corretta la modifica di Cascafico sinceramente, nei name non inseriamo per forza di corsa tutto quello che è scritto nel cartello. Così come non metteremmo "name=Via Dante Alighieri (poeta, scrittore 1265-1321)" se fosse scritto sul cartello. In questo caso nel cartello c'è scritto il vecchio nome, che Cascafico aveva inserito correttamente come old_name.

I noticed it, but I think they were typos of crossing:markings, so why not fixing them instead of changing tag?

here you added a wikimedia commons image depicting an information board to the path. This tag should be used for images depicting the element, but this image depicts the information board, not the path itself. A node should be added for the information board and the image added to that node.

Probably you were trying to upload more than 10 images at once? Unfortunately that's a old issue of the app, with more than 8-9 images I usually switch to desktop, and I use the app for little uploads only.
