The built-in web editor iD has a number of permissible options for street-level imagery, including Bing Streetside and Mapillary, in the "imagery" panel on the right side.

When a business has moved out, it's better to just remove the tags that are no longer applicable, instead of deleting the node entirely, so that useful information like the address doesn't have to be re-added. The web editor iD has a shortcut called "downgrade" that does that automatically.

Please remember to save your edits in one area before moving to another, to make your changes easier to review. Also, try to be more specific about what you changed and why—for example, "Add crossing ways and remove crossing tags where there are none." I think, in the changeset comment, when I said "NSI" I meant "ATP," and I accidentally left the AllThePlaces "id" tag when I copied from there. Sorry!

Please be careful! I've reverted this changeset because it destroyed South Almaden Boulevard. Also, shop=computer_repair_and_shop_electronic is not a valid tag, please check shop=*#Shop-specific_information for a list of common values.

The "name=" key needs to exactly match what the place is actually called and have no additional descriptions. There are other ways to disambiguate, including the "operator=" tag. See osm.wiki/Names#Name_is_the_name_only

When a restaurant or shop closes, it's better to just remove the tags that are no longer relevant, than to delete the node entirely. The address still exists at that location, even if there isn't a restaurant there.

The office is still there, it just isn't generally open to the public, or requires an appointment. disused:office= means there's no office there at all anymore.

I still think it's a misinterpretation to call a tag "wrong" just because of a minor wording choice on a wiki page that someone wrote. A tag is only "wrong" if it incorrectly describes the real world. OSM doesn't have a strict schema, the wiki is only there for guidance.

I feel like that's an oversimplification. Like, shop=sports :

> sport=* if shop focuses on specific sport or sports

It's a qualifier tag that specifies what sport is associated with a feature. If it's a feature like leisure=pitch where sports are played, then that sport is played there. You usually don't play sports at a shop=sports but you can use sport=* on a shop=sports to say which sports equipment you can buy there. Similar to cuisine=*, which is usually used on amenity=restaurant/fast_food, but can also be used on shop=supermarket, even though you don't always eat food at a supermarket.

I don't think this is a good idea. natural=wood should be for forests, not canopy cover.

Oh, I got it backwards, you just removed the sport= tag. I don't really know if that tag means you can play a sport at a place—it's used to specify which sports a sports store covers, for example.

Is it? When I surveyed it in person it looked like a place where you'd buy pool tables, and that's reflected in the name, and on a website that seems to be them.
