Some very important cultural/historical resources are in this area. In particular, the bomb pits where atomic bombs were loaded onto B-29s to be dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki are in this area.

Many of the street names in Garapan have been corrected, but locations are still poor, as with many of the landmarks that were placed in reference to the roads.

Road alignment is particularly bad here.

Many of these roads (if they existed as anything other than WWII temporary roads), have been entirely taken back by the jungle.

A few small sections of roads on Saipan have been edited, but rarely by locals and often without benefit of GPS data or the updated TIGER 2012.

This is not Peacock Alley. That's just down the street. The feature marked is the parking lot for the Asan Bay Overlook.

This road does not cut through the airport; it may have done so a long time ago, before the runway was paved.

The OSM / Tiger 2007(?) streets are offset from the actual street grid in Garapan by a variable amount (see Bing / other imagery and GPS traces)
