Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have changed this to "dry_stone" which is the most likely tag.

Hi Andy

Not sure what happened. I have changed the NE end to "dry_stone" and the SE end to a fence as it looks more like a fence on bing.

I only walked a short section. I try my best to update the relation if I'm modifying sections but sometimes forget. Unfortunately with many of these ways they are well sign posted when put in place but after than no ongoing maintenance is done. The grants people get for developing these never seem to include ongoing maintenance. Whilst I could see some centenary way signs there were none for Bonnie Prince Charlie. I assume there isn't a source we can use for these in terms of improving/checking the completion of the long distance path relation. That said there is still lots of basic features to map in this area.

Not an easy one. My suggestion would be a line for the gate with a circle at each end for the posts. It would however depend on how, walls, fences and hedges are rendered, although I guess you could use distinct colour. I guess the other issue is, can you have a way with a circle at each end with the software you are using? I don't think this is possible with a garmin map but my skills with this are quite limited.

Hi Andy

Many thanks for spotting this.

Fortunately I have some geotagged images so I have managed to update this. I assume it hasn't changed since 2014! There are two gates that relate to the track. One small another larger one. The smaller one is that one that is in general use. I don't have a picture but but I'm fairly sure there is a third gate for the "path" as this is on a higher level with a retaining wall on the image I have. I tend to map gates as lines now so I have changed these, removed the section of all and added a bit more detail.

Many thanks for bringing this to my attention. It should have been landuse=residential, source=bing. It has now been fixed.

Hi Andy

Apologies and many thanks for fixing. For some reason I must have had this also selected when I was using orthogonalise in JOSM and didn't notice.

Thank you for letting me know about this.

Looking at the history I'm not sure I added this tag but I have added others since and should have noted this. It's not a footpath as far as I am aware so I have remove this tag.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have been adding quite a few trees but it seems that for some reason JOSM hasn't shown up the lack of missing tags within its validation results or I haven't noticed this. If you know of anyway of highlighting these untagged nodes within JOSM this would be really appreciated. Otherwise it is going to take me quite a while to go back through all the areas I have been working on. Dudley

I would have walked through the farmyard via the footpaths most likely. I guess it will need a survey to confirm signage. If it is "closed" I would assume some sign as such. Unfortunately these crossing can change from a small stream to a major torrent in a short period of time. If the road is "closed" than then presumably more tags will need to be changed.

Thank you for letting me know about this.

I have deleted the new node I put in and have copied across the tags of the existing node to a new area to define this site and deleted this node. I have also added a track and gate as per Bing imagery.
