I don't know how to draw borders for `landuse=*`. Perhaps I should stop.

This changeset will be undone.

Luckily for me, `public_transport=station` exists, and is general enough to include busway stations.

However, iD automatically wants to add `amenity=bus_station` whenever I already have `public_transport=station`+`https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:bus=yes`, so I don't completely know how to handle it.

BRT systems in general seem to do a great job at raising edge cases for OpenStreetMap. I was going to try to write a proposal for `station=busway`, but I ultimately gave up on that idea when I could not come up with a distinctive way to differentiate between a busway station, and a big fancy bus stop.

What did you do?

The bounding box for this changeset includes both the PAAC Silver Line (in Pittsburgh), and the MBTA Silver Line (in Boston).

Anyway, I think we can make a good case for a set of BRT-related tags.

I've had a lot of ideas about what I would actually write, but as I started to sit down and write, I forgot most of those ideas. I do know that there is a lot of nuance that goes into deciding exactly what tags a feature should use. Unfortunately, I don't quite understand this nuance.

This is my first time writing a feature proposal, and there is a lot that I would need to get right before submitting it. If you would like to help me, check out the guidelines for writing then: osm.wiki/Proposal_process

I was thinking that not only should grade-separated busways (such as the East Busway) be highlighted as prominently as light rail lines, but prominent bus stations (such as Atwood Station and East Liberty stations) should be as well.

I completely agree with your rationale. I've actually started drafting a proposal page for this: osm.wiki/Proposed_features/BRT

> Do not use this on normal paved roadways that are designated for buses only. One correct tagging for those is highway=service, access=no, bus=designated.

highway=bus_guideway

The East Busway is not a guided busway. It does not have tracks.

Ignore the above link. I just commented out the map on that Wikipedia page, so it won't show up.

Do you know what happened to the Wikidata tags on the various SEPTA regional rail routes? I had previously used them to create an interactive map of them on Wikipedia (see link below), but I noticed that this map is now broken. Was there something wrong with my use of these tags?

The wood on these steps was rotting by the time I made this change set.
