Note that the satellite imagery at the mouth of the Bann is 'skewed'. That makes the Barmouth (and the coastline way) look twisted. I have rectified this so that it is smooth and straight, so beware that the imagery does not reflect how it actually is.

The mapping of the Rutland Water NR is fundamentally wrong. The actual reserve includes many fields & woods extending from the Study Centre near Old Stamford Road to Church Road immediately to W of Lagoon 4 and thence (IIRC) includes the main fields used by the Bird Fairm but certainly everythin E of the Winter Path. Beyond Hambleton Road the western reserve boundary is the fence beside the Round Rutland Cycle Path. Lax Hill & Gorse Close have always been part of the reserve, but I would assume that the Lagoons 5-8 are fully included (they were part of the mitigation when water levels were raised). There is also the disjunct part of the reserve on the Manton Arm. This is basically the area from the car park including the 3 hides. In the past the access path was S side of reserve area.
