Permanent Australia “grey nomad” road traveller uploading BlackVue dashcam (2FPS), two left facing Samsung phones (225 & 270deg, 1.0/0.6FPS, 3-40kph) and a rear window cheapy dashcam 1FPS/3FPS as Mapillary images. Includes two unit GPS traces too. Also updating OSM road surface info and features where I travel, camp/rest area facilities/information for where I stay, place/farm based on roadside rural mailboxes, masses of small town data if I get the urge and any good eating places! All from the bed/laptop in the back of the van. (July 2026). See my diary on how I maximise the data capture system.
