Welcome to OSM! I drove past this this morning and it looks like an ordinary house, no evidence of a surf hire business. That's not to say it isn't true. Please add your source and more relevant tags if you can. If this is simply the operational home office of a business that does not operate here, and it has no public liaison there, then I don't think it serves any purpose to map it. Need more info to be sure and happy to help :)

Why did you map the small Sumner shopping precinct as a building? What was your source? Did you look at any imagery?

And please please use descriptive comments for your changesets.

Fixed this in osm.org/browse/changeset/37474655, but FYI that bar is definitely a 'pub' by the OSM wiki definition, and also on the wrong part of the building

That's cool. I don't think anyone else will give you grief about it. It almost looks like a piste map with those names. Much better with them for sure :)

I don't think your expediency justifies the scale of these edits and the problems they can be to understand and undo.

And if you must do these, please take one minute to describe more fully what you did in the changeset description. "tagfixes" is just plain lazy, sorry :(

Hey, good of you to open your edit up to questioning :) JOSM warnings can sometimes be ignored. I have often wondered how to mark cycle lanes and your edit got me looking it up. Try the cycleway tag on Tuam St instead ( cycleway=*#Dedicated_cycle_lanes ) assuming this is a dedicated one. Can't remember the configuration well enough without revisiting the road. So I suggest you revert and then follow that scheme. I'll check back in about a day and make this change if you haven't. Curious what happens to this comment once you revert this changeset too :)
