According to the wiki*, neighbourhoods should be tagged using the British English spelling instead of American. However, I don't know the area and don't want to change it without asking. Is it tagged like this on purpose or is it a mistake?

Unsure which crossing this is referring to. The crossing with the bike lane has tactile markings on both side. The crossing with the road hasn't.

Can someone remove the link between Rue des Aigrettes & the footway going behind the school without breaking the route? Haven't figured out how to do it with JOSM yet and I don't wanna break it :)

Unsure what type of surface to call this. It is similar to asphalt but with pebbles mixed within. Makes it less smooth than asphalt, but it also doesn't belong to another category.
