Usually there is a lot of traffic from villages downwards towards the city, but almost no traffic to the farms further uphill or to villages that are on the other side of steep river valleys. |

Tertiary really doesn't seem like the right choice. way/173057391 on the other side connects the barangay proper of Kilate to the greater network and should therefore be tagged as tertiary according to the Philippines mapping conventions. Assessing the classification of roads can be difficult from aerial imagery alone. Before up- or downgrading please check way histories to see if existing classifications might have been sourced from on the ground surveys. |

While the road might be of higher importance than the other unclassifieds further east, it would be of lower than average importance for a tertiary. Thanks again and have a nice day! |

| 92168238 | Thank you for your reconsideration. Use of tertiary/secondary depends a lot on the population density of a particular area. The general rule of thumb seems to be that a town with a population of 10'000+ has a secondary road leading to the poblacion and then multiple tertiary roads leading to the various barangays with populations of 500+ (that's about the size of Licuaan-Bay Poblacion, roughly 100 houses). And then a bunch of unclassified roads connecting the remaining minor settlements. In a very small and remote towns like Licuaan-Bay everything is just shifted down by one class. I.e. tertiary for the poblacion, unclassified for some barangays and often just paths or tracks for the most remote barangays and sitios. In the example of Malibcong I'd suggest to further extend the tertiary classification all the way to the settlement at node/8416782255 as this road directly connects three of the major settlements of the town and additionaly serves as a collector road for people coming from all other settlements. |

| 98682300 | Hello Chiricahua. According to the osm wiki residential roads serve as an access to housing, without function of connecting settlements. This road is obviously a direct connection of the village of Toril to the greater road network. Further this road also connects to the villages of Libuak, Cogon, San Antonio so tertiary seems to be the appropriate classification. |
