This crossing does not currently follow OSM Wiki recommended tags. I am actively researching the best way to map this crossing as despite there being a crossing island here, functionally, this acts as one long signaled crossing as there are no pedestrian buttons on the center island. In my mind, this means that a person could not technically take refuge on the island as they could get stranded if they were relying on the signals. Alternatively, it feels wrong to not map the refuge island as it exists with tactile paving, so a visually impaired user could think they reached the end of the crossing if the island was not mapped. Documentation is limited on this issue so I am engaged on forums and discussions with other mappers.

This branch is temporarily closed according to the Seattle Public Library website. I have marked it as such, but leaving a note so when it eventually opens back up again in "late 2026" someone can come back and edit it again.

Underground walkway and stairs/ramps need to be mapped by someone on the ground. Hard to tell where start/end is from sat imagery.

New pathways were constructed here, but due to private nature of president's house can't get a GPS trace. Will probably need to wait for updated sat imagery to become aval.

Location of this ALPR should be verified with another IRL survey. It may exist on another pole in the intersection.
