I have been mapping since 2017 and remain an active community member in Nepal. My work has contributed to more than 1.6 million OSM map changes and 8800 map edits, and I’ve led 30+ training sessions reaching over 1,500 people and have supported both local and humanitarian mapping initiatives. Over the years, I have also had the opportunity to contribute to the wider OSM community by coordinating the disaster mapping response representing Nepal ( Turkey–Syria), being an Open Mapping Guru through the Open Mapping Hub Asia Pacific, and being a voting member of the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team. I was also recognized as an OpenStreetMap DEI Champion in 2023 from Asia and received the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team’s Woman in Open Mapping Leader of the Year award in 2024.
