Hmm, node/4449776840 maybe?

What's the third one? :)

42816867

Hah, now that's evil! Did you leave any others?

42816867

Is it really the place to be? :)

Hi! I don’t know if you’ve seen that the upper Chiers is mapped further up, up to its spring at node/2304188384? Should that part be added? I don't know what you’re using these relation for, so I don’t want to break things.

Thanks :)

Hello! Le tag highway=no est à éviter: highway=no

Hello mavl,

Thank you very much for your message. It's always interesting to think about mapping practice.

Before my edit, there were 28 multipolygon relations, many of them consisting of only outer ways.

After turning these into areas, and using big inner islands to contain groups of landuses inside the forest, this is down to 3. relation/103843 is down from 55 to 34 members.

Simple polygons should be preferred to multipolygons:

- It goes against common usage: mappers are used to using closed ways for, say, landuse=farmyard when it can be traced as a simple polygon.

- It makes editing tedious and error-prone: I know the changeset area well, but found it [through the osmose QA tool's multipolygon checker](http://osmose.openstreetmap.fr/fr/errors/?country=luxembourg&item=1170). Have you tried editing one of these big relations we have in Luxembourg, in iD or JOSM?

- It makes the data hard to understand and process. There are many edge cases if you start mapping everything like this, and different renderers understand multipolygons differently.

I'd be interested to hear what you think.

Guillaume

Hello, je vois que tu es très acti(f|ve) sur le cap. Bienvenue! :)

Guillaume

Hi AtomMapper,

Please follow the import guidelines at osm.wiki/Import/Guidelines before importing data.

The addresses you've mapped are just house numbers, they're not at the position where they are in the source, and you didn't discuss this with the local community.

The address points for the whole country are available as open data at https://data.public.lu/en/datasets/adresses-georeferencees-bd-adresses/ . I'm working on a proper weekly import, if you're interested in collaborating!

I hope it's ok if I revert your import for now.

Happy mapping,

Guillaume

Hi Dan! It looks like this edit broke RGTR line 309. User VoyagesWeber says that they’ll fix it, and update the bypass when it’s opened. Hope you’re good!

Tu essaies pas JOSM? :)

Nice micromapping, thanks!

Hello Javier,

Oh no! No, that was not the intended result!

However, I do intend to import the open data address points, which will replace these.

I'd love to chat about it if you're on whatsapp/google hangouts/iMessage/facebook/twitter - shoot me a message with your contact?

Moien,

Ech hun d’Donnéeë vun der Mobilitéitszentral vun data.public.lu convertéiert. Mat JOSM ass dat ganz praktesch:

Hei ass och e gutt Beispill vun enger gut gemappter Bus-Relatioun: relation/6303972
