If there is a separate footpath to the road here (and it's not clear from the imagery that there is) presumably it does actually join the road at one or both ends?

Is this really a separate footpath or actually part of the A449? Does it join Bungham Lane at the south end?

Bing imagery shows a new housing development north of here - presumably this becomes a road at about this point?

South of here the imagery would suggest that this isn't a tertiary road.
