XC Newcastle -> Reading doesn't seem to exist anymore as a through train.

Hi,

I suspect you really want access=destination as access=private will mean that, say, Amazon delivery drivers & visitors won't be routed here.

It's currently marked as a caravan park, but looks more likely to be a mobile home park. If the latter is true changing the area to landuse=residential with residential=mobile_home_park would be better. I notice all the buildings actually have an official property number as well (https://osm.mathmos.net/addresses/uprn/#17/51.8962/-2.1329)

Had to check why a Quercus was in leaf right now. Should have guessed who (and where) it was being mapped!

It's better to mark unofficial paths with the following tags: informal=yes, trailblazed=no + appropriate visibility tags, than add a name which does not exist. I also note that most users of Hikr either grade this T3+ or T4 not T5, and that there is part with a cable which should be marked separately.

The traverse Westgrat/Nordgrat or vice versa does seem pretty popular.

Hi,

Thanks for adding this, find it a bit amazing no-one had done it before.

Technically The Kite was bounded by East Road, Maid's Causeway, Parkside, Parker St, and Emmanuel Road (hence the name). The Grafton Centre ripped the heart out of the old area.

Will check a bit on current usage.

I'm pretty sure the Salix is Salix x sepulcralis 'Chrysocosma' aka Golden Weeping Willow. Long yellow twigs. Not present in the public tree list, so suspect this is private land.

You spelt the species name incorrectly on this values it should by Salix x sepulcralis (extra "r"), and what you have entered is best in the taxon key. The cultivar can be denominated separately by taxon:cultivar=Chrysocoma or 'Chrysocoma'

Forgot to say, I was using these as an example of mobile, but semi-permanent shops.

124201853

Oh, thanks. You could also check with a couple of locals too (Mateusz Konieczny & Włodzimierz Bartczak - Christoffs).

I think the florists shops are a distinct part of the cultural attraction of the Rynek (certainly mentioned on places like TripAdvisor & English wikipedia.

The person who told me about the shops in the 1930s was https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacek_Hennel. I was last in Krakow for his funeral, when I bought a lot of flowers.

124201853

What time of day did you survey? The flower shops would close not long after lunch. These photos were taken in April 2012: https://imgur.com/a/yGisaHX.

On the 30th the Krakow Derby took place so everything closed early (as you can see), but I think 13:30 is about the latest they are open.

Can you explain why you changed the shop=florist to shop=gift. I find it hard to believe they have changed significantly. I knew people who remembered them in the 1930s and have a picture of my father by them in 1961. I bought flowers here in 2012 & 2014. florist != gift as can be seen by examples around here way/162605465

Has the coffee van by the Hammersmith & City line platforms really moved? Looks to be in wrong place now.

Note sure the Kingsway Kebab van actually has a postcode :-)

Just looked at this because of: https://twitter.com/EmilyKerr36/status/1618271589602332672. Wondered if foot=permissive & bicycle=permissive would be more appropriate access tags. (It is a couple of ages since I last wandered through here, often for some bizarre reason on a Maundy Thursday when getting into buildings wasn't easy).

Suspect the 200 degrees place on MIlton Street is a cafe rather than a shop (they probably do sell their coffee as well). Have changed it (as Jay was the original mapper)

You seem to have deleted information on at least one node, which was mapped as a maypole: node/9973120591

Looks to be erroneous wikidata tag on Jubilee Campus.

It's an orienteering post, and these are various markings (not the mapper, but they did ask about these).
