Unmapped section of NCN 12

Towpath upgraded Stainton–Holme - needs new surface (fine_gravel?), bicycle=permissive, and survey to see what has happened to barriers/steps

Is there a slipway/boat launch here?

Towpath is being resurfaced/upgraded to cycleway standard near here

Path due to be resurfaced Feb 2025 - https://www.sstaffs.gov.uk/news/2025/south-staffordshire-railway-walk-set-ps346k-resurfacing-works - so surface tag could be reviewed afterwards

Lots of highway=residential around here with no surface tag but the tiger:reviewed tag removed - this is misleading and the roads should have a surface=unpaved tag (or, in many cases, just become highway=track)

I think NCN 63 has been moved away from this interim route.
