If Unthank Road has a roundabout on it which joins with Unthank Road, why remove the name=Unthank Road from the roundabout?

I do subscribe to highway=path because the signs show equal use and the NCN just makes use of that off-road shared bit of pavement for connectivity. Just feels a bit biased to be picking highway=cycleway for a narrow pavement.

The signs from StreetView 2022 suggest shared-use pavement (highway=path used by JOSM for that).

Puzzling to see highway=cycleway and foot=designated + public_footpath together on FP 34. Surely the primary user of a public footpath are pedestrians?

The council has official road names for the roundabout polylines, such as "KETTS HILL", for what was previously named "Bishop Gate Road" in NE corner of A147.

What makes the section from Newmarket Road roundabout to Thickthorn Interchange not an expressway? No adjacent accessible properties, 40 mph, dual, pedestrian controlled crossing.

70 mph is the usual dual carriageway limit. The speed curtailment to 50 mph, the bus lane and the lanes narrowing to one before the at-grade junctions don’t make it feel like an expressway.

Per motorroad=*#United_Kingdom is this really an expressway? Pedestrians and cyclists are permitted, it’s only 50 mph not 70 mph.

In the iD editor there is a placeholder textbox for 'housename' and the one below has placeholder '123'. The name is usually non-numeric, though might be the spelled number. In this case, just relocate the 17 from the box above to the box below and it will still render as 17, but using the meaning of house number.

Wouldn’t addr:housenumber for a more appropriate tag key to use? If only numbered then that’s fine to have alone for rendering.

Alignment corrections are fine, but positioning improvement can't really be done from Bing alone, unless you have amassed GPS traces or say align with OS StreetView.

The wiki description of the differences between the two is pretty poor. I’m aware of the technical difference in concepts, but in both cases, you can have beer in a garden-like environment.
