Dear Woodpeck, thanks for bringing that up. I have to say that I did change the way I map. This sort of way looks nothing like the way I used to map before the discussion which you interrupted in 2022 (way/1476375806/history#map=19/46.227387/6.991242).

I know nothing about the software you mention. All the mapping I have ever done was performed manually. More broadly, the general approach in your critics is unnecessarily agressive in its tone and it is still difficult for me to understand why.

Nevertheless, I will take it into account and avoir close nodes in trafic islands.

Hi. Thanks for adding more details but why delete the area? It is OK to map the aeroway area ("Additionally, the whole area area of the runway may be mapped as well, tagged with area:aeroway=runway", aeroway=runway). I'll try to repair it.

Thanks for the reply. Wjat I meant is that some portion of the area might have been drawn with one source and some other with one other source and that it is important to be able to distinguish them. Foe instance, one part might have been mapped with and old imagery of Bing in 2016 and another with a newer LIDAR imagery of 2023. These imageries have different offsets, different otho correction and the landscape itself might have changed with the years. There is a lot of value -to me at least- in distinguishing the different segments as per their source.

I could connect two portions of the forest. I see that in this area, there is also the issue if the various meadows.
