there is a turning lane here that leads into waterside drive. the problem is that they navigator is avoiding this turning lane and expecting a u-turn about 500 meters West of this point.

when pushing 80 km an hour it is a bit hard to recover in time to make the turn.

I suspect it has something to do with the way the median crossing lines up with the intersection on the GPS. in real life it lines up fine.

the lane guide at this point needs updating it has three lanes going straight through and two right-hand turning lanes

it might be better if this off-ramp is named the Lower Dandenong Road off-ramp. the reason being that all the Expressway signage refers to lower Dandenong Road and it is not until you get off the expressway that you see anything referring to Woodlands drive.

there seems to be a blockage here for the navigator. the navigator avoids making a right turn at this intersection when in fact there are two lanes to turn from Waverley Road right into Warrigal Road.
