highway=service is not the appropriate tag for service/frontage roads. Please see highway=service .
I also agree with highway=motorway, but I didn't want to revert and potentially start an edit war.
It does imply it, just as highway=motorway does, but oneway=yes is useful as an explicit statement. It also plays a part in my personal workflow of searching for oneway=yes and making sure all relations have the forward role, which is how I came across this.
I apologize if I came across as too gruff. This is sort of a confusing special case that happened a lot during the early days of Interstate construction but rarely happens these days.
| 184204710 | That news article simplifies the details. Sources from ARDOT indicate that this part of US 67 is still future I-57:
But since "on the ground" signage is the final arbiter, can you confirm that signs for I-57 have been posted in Jacksonville "for a few years now"? |
This is incorrect according to https://forum.travelmapping.net/index.php?topic=2009.msg41413#msg41413 . Can you confirm that signs like https://www.mapillary.com/app/?lat=34.89352357627&lng=-92.09804273632903&z=17&pKey=655318683316655&x=0.4941629294428222&y=0.41987581796881424&zoom=2.0332225913621262&focus=photo have been changed?
Please don't do this. The oneway hurts nothing and can help.
The motorway=* page you link describes restrictions on nonmotorized vehicles and such, which are not always present on freeways.
It's an attempt to preserve that the Hot Springs bypass is a full freeway despite someone downgrading it from motorway to trunk.
How does "South Coliseum Boulevard" translate to "Avenida del Bulevar Sur"?
Don't tag for the validator.
Reverted. I live here and can tell you for certain that CR 522 does not exist inside Disney World. The ref=World Drive tags are a misuse of the ref tag, which is not used for names.
Reverted. Only trucks are charged a toll.
This part of 146 has driveways and should not be highway=motorway.
Because the I-4 express lanes charge a toll for HOVs...
I've put them both in the alt_name field. Hopefully this resolves the issue.
PS: don't forget to add "PBSO Motorman Highway" to the portion between Lion Country Safari Road and Royal Palm Beach Boulevard, as the article says was also named at the same time (https://www.pbcgov.com/pubInf/Agenda/20250708/3A2.pdf states the limits).
| 177473349 | Even in the source you provided:
You're not understanding how street names work in Florida. There are green signs at every intersection, ground level and overhead, that read Southern Blvd. On the other hand, when the state legislature assigns a name, it's usually posted on a few special brown ceremonial signs, and the normal green signs are not changed. I'm planning to drive down to West Palm soon to verify that the green signs have not been changed, but if they had we both know there would be a bunch of photos out there showing it, not just those of the brown signs.
Apart from a few likely-AI Facebook posts and a few fake gold signs made for photos, I'm only seeing brown ceremonial name signs: https://www.google.com/search?udm=2&q=trump+blvd+palm+beach
