Hello.
Could you please elaborate what are you mapping here?

Looking at that github repo, it seems like for now it's still only a proposed way of mapping, not exactly the defacto spec, so perhaps just be aware of it, but don't necessarily retag every single intersection that way?

Are those bollards or fire hydrant?

Hello.
Could you please explain why did you add building:part=yes here?

Hello.
You added building:part=yes to a bunch of buildings. However, I do not see any other parts of those buildings or the parent building way. Could you please elaborate on this edit?

Hello.
When mapping features that supposed to have right angles, after you draw them, you can right-click on them and select "make square" (shortcut key Q). That will make your mapping more accurate to the real world and look neater. 👍

Hello.
Could you please write more descriptive changeset comments? "Brooklyn" doesn't help other mappers understand what exactly you are mapping. Please see this article for more detailed explanation: osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments 👍

Hello.
Generally, around NYC it's better to use Bing imagery instead of Mapbox since Bing is more up-to-date and better aligned to the actual gps coordinates.

Hello.
Those small "antenna" segments between sidewalk and crosswalk are still considered sidewalk so it's ok to tag them as such.. 🙂👍

What are you trying to accomplish with your overpass query?

126150095

What kind of query are you using? what exactly do you want to export? From what I see all the water features in this area are already properly mapped. But in addition to this, you tagged this feature as multipolygon even though it's not a relation nor a multipolygon..
I'm thinking this should be reverted

Hello.
If I'm not mistaken, maxheight tag should be only on the relevant sections where it applies, ie just around the overpass, not a segment going large distance back.
Or is that no longer the standard?

Hello.
You edit contains a number of significant problems.

In many places you tagged features as both a node and added the same tags to buildings. Doing that goes against osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element

Additionally, in multiple cases you tagged whole buildings as specific business, such as a restaurant. Doing that is valid only in situations where that business occupies the whole building (for example a free-standing fast-food restaurant.)
In cases where a business occupies only a part of a building, for example a restaurant on the ground floor of a multi-story apartment, or a smaller company in a large office building, it must be tagged as a separate node within the perimeter of that building.

Additionally, you deleted a part of building on Central Park South. Also deleted address tags from another building nearby. You tagged the whole office complex as a bank. Deleted a section of Holland Tunnel.
You created a swimming pool and tagged it as outdoors in-ground(implying it's on street level) when it's actually on a roof of a building.

Because of the numerous problems, unfortunately this changeset is going to be reverted.

Hello.
This edit is invalid. Pier 86 *IS NOT* the same thing as 86 West 46th Street.
That address would be on the corner of 6th Ave.
As such this changeset is going to be reverted in full.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Hello.
could you please elaborate why did you delete many of the existing buildings and created new ones on top rather than edit the already mapped ones?
On the newly created buildings you are missing many of the previously mapped details..

Hello uplander.
You are not allowed to use Google Maps to add information to OSM. Please see osm.wiki/FAQ#Why_don't_you_just_use_Google_Maps/whoever_for_your_data?
If you continue to do that, your account will be referred to DWG.

Could you please elaborate on this POI's name? Looking on the included website it appears that the name is "Cathedral of Our Lady of the Sign" Is that not correct?
