This path is part of National Cycle Network 1, but that doesn't stop it from having "Cyclists dismount" and "No cycling" signs along it.
I think the tagging of just the section through the middle of Medway Cruising Club should be "bicycle=dismount" and "segregated=no".
Could we also have "no sailing" tags at Medway Cruising Club's slipway too? (joke)

I cycled this cycle track last week and found about five inaccessible cycle barriers along it. Could someone local please add them?
Something like:
barrier=cycle_barrier
?

Why is this mapped as a highway=path rather than highway=cycleway? It's mapped as highway=cycleway further to the east, and as far as I can remember, there's no change to the surface/designation/signage/segregation?

the common entrance for flats 9-17 is here, the terrace also has downstairs doors opening to the road for evens 2-10
