In this case I think the disused tags shoudl be used, the name of the building doesn't include (closed) so that doesn't belong there. disused=*:

I assume the house number is also still valid so the tag addr:housenumber= could also be set?

Welcome to OSM, thanks for your contributions. Please use descriptive change logs in commits instead of "Update" as it makes it much easier to review changes.

Thanks for you addition, just to let you know I have swapped your node with an area but there was nothing wrong with the way you mapped.

It looks like you have combined changes in Ashford and Dover, try and keep changes localised.

"Cyclist dismount" signs have no meaning in UK law. If there is no end cycle lane sign in theory the path continues past the cyclists dismount sign.

Looks like there is already a node for this, but I think this should probably be on a relationship not a node.

This area is currently under redevelopment so not worth putting too much time into it.

Did you validate this on the ground, there (at least used to) exist a set of stairs to a pavement on the side you have deleted.

I am still learning too.I don't think it's super clear cut when a road is a service road or driveway.

102533384

would it make sense for this to be tagged as a driveway not a service road?

This seems to go against what the wiki says for this tag landuse=residential that housing estates can/should have names on residential tags.

Is there a place tag already in place, as this change just seems to be removing information?
